Bahrain Mirror: The United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power, criticized the Bahraini "government's crackdown on three opposition figures," referring to the arrest of Wa'ad leader "Ebrahim Sharif," prosecution of the Al-Wefaq figure Majeed Milad and retrial of the leader of the opposition in Bahrain, Sheikh Ali Salman.
#Bahrain govt's release of activist #NabeelRajab is in contrast w/crackdown on 3 opposition figures. Urge govt to protect free expression

Samantha Power posted on her Twitter account on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 that there is a contradiction in the actions of the Bahraini government that "released activist Nabeel Rajab," but launched a "crackdown on three opposition figures," urging the Bahraini government to "protect free expression".
It is worth mention that the US State Department expressed its concern in a statement issued on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 about the re-opening of the case against the opposition leader Sheikh Ali Salman, arrest of prominent opposition leader Ebrahim Sharif and prosecution of the member of the General Secretariat of Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, Majeed Milad.
