Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): The families of detainees held at Dry Dock Prison rallied on Wednesday (February 24, 2016) and called on the Bahraini Ministry of Interior to meet the prisoners' demands and improve prison conditions that are getting worse.
The families, who protested outside the building of the National Institute for Human Rights (NIHR), urged the NIHR to guarantee that the inmates enjoy their rights, noting that they are being subjected to humiliation during the periodic family visits.
The families demanded the removal of the glass barrier that prevents them from having direct contact with their imprisoned family members.
