Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini authorities have continued to prevent the Shia majority from performing their largest Friday prayer in the Imam Al-Sadiq mosque in Diraz for the 15th consecutive week.
The authorities prevented on Friday (November 4, 2016) citizens and Imam of the prayers from entering the village that has been witnessing a siege since over 4 months, in a collective punishment for the open sit-in held outside Sheikh Isa Qassim's house, protesting against the decision that revoked his citizenship.
Worshipers performed the Friday prayer in Imam Al-Sadiq mosque separately (without being led by Imam). An angry protest took off after the prayers condemning the sectarian persecution and practices against Shia in Bahrain.
