Bahrain Mirror: The Supreme Court of Appeal presided over by Judge Mohammad bin Ali Al Khalifa, and under the secretariat of Abdullah Mohammad, overruled the appeal of a defendant who was sentenced in absentia to 15 years in prison, along with 3 others. They were accused of deliberately bombing a fuel station near the Formula 1 arena. His appeal was dismissed because he didn't not attend the session.

The First Instance Court had imposed a BD 11,767 fine in return for all damages, and ruled the confiscation of all belongings.

The Public Prosecution had accused the defendants that on November 13, 2014, they attempted to deliberately cause a bomb to deter citizens, and the crime was not committed since the bomb did not detonate. They were also accused of deliberately setting fire to movables for terrorist purposes, and possessing Molotov cocktails. Moreover, the Public Prosecution accused the first defendant of threatening a worker in the station with a knife.
