Bahrain: Vast Security Campaign Results in Arrest of at Least 7 Citizens, Including “Haji Somoud”

Bahrain Mirror- Exclusive: The Bahraini security authorities have launched in the past 24 hours vast campaign that resulted in the arrest of at least 7 citizens, including Haji Majid Abdullah, who is known as "Haji Somoud".
Monitoring networks in several areas reported that forces affiliated to Ministry of Interior launched violent campaigns in several villages at the night of Monday and dawn of Tuesday. These campaigns led to the arrest of Adel Isa from Al-Dair, Ayman Salman and Hussein Ali from Dar Kulaib, Salah Ali from Sitra and Ahmad Hassan Sultan from Mahaza.
The carried out house raids led to the arrest of Haj Majid Abdullah, known as "Haji Somoud" from Damistan and Mohammad Nasser Al-Ashouri from Jidhafs, after confiscating a number of electronic devices from the house.
A specialized monitoring network stated that security forces arrested Jaafar Abbas Yousef last Thursday from Buri, adding that his house was raided on Friday.
Activists fear that the authorities would raise charges of political background against the detainees and extract confessions from them under torture.
