Al-Wefaq: Bahraini Delegation that Visited Jerusalem Represents Ruling Regime

Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society in Bahrain announced on Sunday (December 10, 2017) its categorical rejection and strong condemnation of the arrival of a Bahraini government delegation to the city of Jerusalem and the desecration of the holy region by being the Zionist entity's guests, indicating that "the small group which came to Jerusalem, backed by the Bahraini regime that organized and supported this visit, do not represent the people of Bahrain".
The society emphasized that the people of Bahrain, both Shiites and Sunnis, will remain faithful to the Palestinian cause and that any attempt of normalization is a betrayal of the Palestinian cause and a great betrayal of the people of Bahrain.
Al-Wefaq stressed its full support for the uprising of the Palestinian people and the movement that extends to our Arab and Islamic world and the whole world in defending Jerusalem and Palestine and every inch of our occupied land.
