Public Prosecution Detains Tweeter for 7 Days on Charges of Sending Tweets “Including Seditious Comments”

Bahrain Mirror: The head of the Northern Governorate Prosecution, Mohammed Salah, said that the Public Prosecutor's Office received a report from the Anti-Cyber Crime Directorate stating that their investigations revealed that someone had created an account on the social networking site Twitter through which he published "offensive comments that included inflammatory and seditious speech".
He claimed that the Public Prosecution began interrogating the accused after his arrest confiscation of his devices and his response to the results of the investigations, adding that he confessed to his connection with the account and the published tweets. The Public Prosecution ordered detaining him for seven days pending investigation and examining his electronic devices.
