US Ambassador Supports Bahrain’s Efforts in Combating Human Trafficking

Bahrain Mirror: US Ambassador to Bahrain Justin Hicks Siberell expressed his country's support to Bahrain's efforts in combating human trafficking.
He hailed during his meeting with CEO of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority Osama Al-Absi the investigations carried out in number of cases related to human trafficking, besides the efforts exerted to train officials on mechanisms of dealing with victims.
Al-Absi indicated that the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons issued a national referral system for victims of trafficking in persons for victims of human beings trafficking.
