NIHR Reviews 7 Complaints from Women’s Prison Related to Physical Integrity, Right for Health

Bahrain Mirror: The Complaints, Monitoring and Follow-up Committee at the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) said that it reviewed 7 complaints from female detainees in Isa Town Prison related to the right to physical and moral integrity, as well as the right for health.
The committee also reviewed the legal assistance cases delivered during September and October, which reached 32, in addition to 2 cases monitored through mass media and social media networks.
The NIHR also received 87 complaints through the toll-free hotline during the same period.
