Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini lawyer Ibrahim Serhan described judge Ali Khalifa Al-Dhahrani as "butcher of dissidents and human rights activists in Bahrain".

He explained in a tweet that Al-Dhahrani, son of former speaker of the Chamber of Deputies (Khalifa Al-Dhahrani), issued most of the death sentences against dissidents, despite "knowing and hearing the woes and calls of torture victims in courts and [knowing] that their confessions were written under electrocution and deadly torture."

Al-Dhahrani presides the fourth high criminal court which is considered the harshest and cruelest courts against the Shia majority.
