Sheikh Mohammad Al-Madi Sentenced to One Year in Jail

Bahrain Mirror: The regime's courts sentenced Shiite cleric, Sheikh Mohammad Al-Madi, to one-year jail term with the execution of the sentence over charges related to freedom of belief, after accusing him of insulting historic symbols.
Capital Governorate Chief Prosecutor, Abdulla Al-Thawadi, said that the fourth Low Criminal Court's verdict, issued on July 9, 2019, came over charge of "publicly defaming Caliphs and the companions of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)."
