Bahrain Mirror: King Hamad University Hospital in Bahrain, a governmental hospital, published a job advertisement in Indian news outlets demanding male and female nurses to work in the hospital. November 2 was set as a date to conduct interviews with the applicants to the vacant jobs in 8 specialties, noting that applicants should have 2 years of experience.   

Besides the salary which varies between 469 and 600BD, employees will enjoy privileges like accommodation, free meals and bonuses for the extra working hours.

According to the ad which held the king's hospital logo, interviews were made in the Indian Mumbai and Kochi cities.

This is contrary to the ministry's response to the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry on Bahrainization, which stated that it had drawn up a plan to replace Bahrainis in jobs held by foreigners, particularly in the nursing field. The Embassy of Bahrain in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan published an announcement in Amman, Jordan, last July, asking for nurses for jobs at the military hospital, which is also a government hospital. The number of foreign employees in the Ministry of Health is about 21%, according to an earlier statement for Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry on Bahrainization of Jobs, MP Ibrahim Al-Nafei,
