Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini National Initiative against Normalization with the Zionist Enemy, which comprises 24 organizations, including political, women's rights, youth and other civil society groups, called on the Bahraini authorities to "expel the representative of the Zionist entity in our country Bahrain and cancel the normalization agreement signed by the government with the treacherous Zionist enemy."

In a statement issued Wednesday evening (May 12, 2021), these organizations stressed that, "Peace with the occupation that destroys homes and commits murders of children, women and the elderly is a pure fantasy and an illusion that cannot be realized and that cannot fool the Palestinian and Arab peoples. It is rather encouragement for this arrogant [regime], supported by major [world] powers. The solution lies in resisting it by all means, including armed struggle, permitted by international laws and norms for self-determination of peoples, as it is deemed an inherent legitimate right of the Palestinian people".

"The Palestinian youth who took the initiative managed to achieve a political and moral victory by  bringing the Palestinian cause back to the forefront of Arab and international attention, and forcing the entity to cancel its largest military exercise in its history...," the statement highlighted.

The Bahraini National Initiative and its active organizations demanded "the expulsion of the representative of the Zionist entity in our country Bahrain and ending the normalization agreement signed by the government with the treacherous Zionist enemy. The initiative also calls for the cancellation of all normalization agreements signed between Arab countries and the usurper Zionist entity."

It also called on "the Palestinian national factions and their active forces, especially the Fatah and Hamas movements, to end the devastating internal division and restore Palestinian national unity."

The organizations further called on "all groups of the Bahraini people to stand together with our people in Palestine in their struggle with the enemy, and their steadfastness, heroism and confrontation of the occupation entity in various Palestinian cities."

"We also call on all Arab peoples to show solidarity and support to our Palestinian brothers, by organizing popular and public events and on social media in support of the Palestinian right," they added.
