Bahrain Mirror: The Saudi authorities released on Sunday (June 27, 2021) two prominent human rights activists Samar Badawi and Nassima Al-Sadah after being held in detention for nearly three years within a vast campaign that included dozens of activists in the kingdom. The authorities also released eulogy reciter Mohammad Bou Jbara.

In 2018, the authorities arrested Nassima Al-Sadah, a women's rights activist from the Shiite minority Qatif province, along with Samar Badawi, a women's rights defender and sister of detained blogger Raef Badawi, over their prominent human rights activism.

Meanwhile, eulogy reciter Mohammad Bou Jbara, from Al-Ahsa province, was arrested in October 2020 after filming a work of art about Imam Al-Hussein arba'een.
