3752 Detainees Benefited from Alternative Penal Code: MoI

Bahrain Mirror: The Interior Ministry said the total number of beneficiaries of the Alternative Penal Code since it was applied in May 2018 has reached 3725.
The number of beneficiaries of the application of the law after the issuance of Decree No. 24 of 2021 has reached 228, including 195 men and 17 women. Meanwhile, the number of beneficiaries whose ages range between 16 and 21 has reached about 16.
