US Fifth Fleet Commander Visits Bahrain Few Days after CIA Director's Visit

Bahrain Mirror: Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa met with the Commander of the United States Fifth Fleet Charles B. Cooper few days after CIA director Bill Burns visited Manama.
Bahrain News Agency said that the Crown Prince and the US Fifth Fleet Commander discussed on Monday (April 11, 2023) issues of common interest, as well as joint efforts to further Bahrain-US cooperation.
The Crown Prince highlighted the longstanding ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, particularly within military and defence.
This meeting comes days after Burns visited Manama, where he met with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the crown prince and discussed "issues of common interest," according to Russia Today.
