Bahrain Mirror: Preacher of Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Diraz, Sheikh Ali Al-Sadadi, confirmed that "endowments are being seized under the eyes of the Justice Ministry," stressing that "confiscation of endowments is a crime similar to the demolition of mosques".

He explained in his Friday sermon he delivered on April 21, 2023 that "A number of endowments. including a land in Sar, an endowment belonging to the "Ma'tam Al Abdulhay" based on the court's ruling, were confiscated and deducted under the eyes of the Ministry of Justice and the Jaafari Endowments Directorate."

Meanwhile, he stressed that the people "cannot forget the crime of demolishing mosques," adding, "we cannot condone this crime and the violation against legitimate endowments." He went on to underline "the need to rebuild the demolished mosques."

He further stated:" If something else is built on a plot of land that land remains to be a 'Waqf' mosque land by Sharia law."
