Bahrain Mirror: The Crown Minister and Prime Minister directed the Minister of Education Mohammed bin Mubarak Jumaa to immediately halt any changes made to the Kingdom's educational curricula, according to Bahrain News Agency.
BNA quoted the Crown Prince as saying that "the changes are not compatible with Bahrain's national values designed to protect religion and its core pillars, in line with the National Action Charter and the Constitution."
This came after Bahraini scholars and preachers issued a joint statement in which they expressed their deep concern over the recent suspicious changes made by the Ministry of Education in a number of curricula prescribed in public schools," noting that "what the ministry has done amounts to distorting the contents and falsifying facts." It is to note that these changes were imposed by normalization.
