Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society called for the re-opening of the shrine of the great companion "Sa'asa'a bin Souhan Al-a'abdi," which is located in southern Bahrain and dates back to 1300 years. The society indicated that the regime closed the shrine and is preventing citizens from visiting it.

Al-Wefaq confirmed through a series of tweets via its Twitter account that this religious site is highly revered by a large part of Muslims in Bahrain and abroad, warning that "its arbitrary closure and preventing citizens from visiting it constitutes a flagrant infringement of the feelings and beliefs of citizens, and reflects the extent of persecution of citizens and contempt for their rituals and beliefs."

The society stressed that the regime hides behind fake slogans of coexistence and tolerance, and pays millions to buy stances of some organizations and institutions concerned with religious freedoms to praise the Bahraini regime and claim that it believes in coexistence and tolerance and to cover up the violations against religious freedoms.
